Dropbox is an application that creates a special Finder folder that automatically syncs online and between your computers. It allows you to both backup files and keep them up-to-date between systems.

Note:You must first sign up to use Dropbox.

The Dropbox application is available for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. A video on the site explains more.

Version 1.6.5:

• Temporarily stop using Growl for Snow Leopard and below. (See note below)
• Fix icon overlays getting out of the Dropbox folder.
• Fix (rare) Dropbox not autostarting after updating.

Note regarding Growl: We're still looking into how to fix this. However we don't want you guys to miss on the notifications so this should downgrade to our own notifications instead of using Growl.
